Generally, a person may obtain a copy of a document that has been filed in an appeal by contacting the Clerk of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Tax Court at http://courts.in.gov/cofc/. Fees are charged for copying and mailing documents.
Access to particular documents may be limited or restricted if they contain confidential information or a court has ordered the document sealed. Indiana Administrative Rule 9 addresses public access to, and confidentiality of, court records. More discussion about public access to court records can be found at http://courts.in.gov/admin/2488.htm.
Some Supreme Court orders and all opinions can be found online at http://courts.in.gov/2730.htm.
