The mycase.in.gov website includes basic civil and criminal case information from courts that use the state's Odyssey case management system. Local courts are responsible for updating the case information in Odyssey, and once a case is updated, the new information is immediately available on the website. See the list of courts that use Odyssey and mycase.in.gov.
How far back records go varies by county or court and depends largely on when the court began using Odyssey and whether or not the court chose to add cases for online access that predate their use of Odyssey. In order to find out how far back cases go for a particular court, you must contact the court directly. Keep in mind that some courts are still adding old cases. Phone numbers for all courts and clerks' offices across the state are available in our court directory.
Some case information is considered confidential and is not available on the mycase.in.gov website. To learn more about the types of information that are confidential, see the Rules on Access to Court Records.
Dismissed cases are available on the mycase.in.gov website, unless the case is confidential in nature or has been restricted or expunged from an individual's record.
